Periodically cleaning your vessel is essential to maintaining it in the best conditions and obtaining the best level of performance and durability over the years. The tasks will depend on the length, the model as well as the use we make of them. However, we must keep in mind that we can do some of these tasks ourselves but for others, it’s best to hire a professional.

In most cases, we need three elements: water, a cleaning product and a cloth, brush, polisher to apply the cleaning product as efficiently as possible. To that effect, it’s best to keep in mind various factors so as to achieve the best results while producing the lowest environmental impact possible.

Choosing a product

There are a wide range of options available, from domestic cleaners to alternatives specifically designed for certain materials. When it comes to choosing a product, we recommend those that are biodegradable. This property will be indicated on the label and guarantees maximum respect for the sea and the environment.

Application

Always follow the directions indicated by the manufacturer for each product in order to obtain the best results without being wasteful.

Water

Absolutely necessary for cleaning; however, it’s essential to use only the amount needed. Once the surface is wet, we can turn the water off until it’s time to rinse.
