Club sections return to new normality

Thanks to COVID – 19, the normal activity of the different Club sectors has been interrupted.  With the arrival of Phase 2, limited groups of people are allowed to meet and that is why we are now excited about reactivating our activities with the required prevention and hygiene measures.

Social events

For years, the Club’s social diary has been one of our favourite things.  Unfortunately, due to the large number of people who take part, and to guarantee the safety of users, we have decided to postpone the Popular Barbecue and Member’s day to 2021.

However, we are keeping the planned smaller activities in our calendar:

  • Environmental Conference – 11th July
  • Get Wet for Multiple Sclerosis – 12th July
  • Blue Day – 1st August – Sports activities aimed at members and presentation of Blue Flag for Boats to users who have requested them.
  • Live Music Concert – 22nd August – Performance by the female Habanera group Neus Mar.

Cruise Section:

On 13th June and 25th July we suggest that you go sailing together in two new Sailing Meetings. The Ruta de l’Anxova, which we organise between October and June, will be held for the last time this year, after five races.  The award is planned for 25th July. Another event, which is really exciting, is that we want to retrieve the l’Escala-Roses crossing, which is scheduled to take place on 8th August.

Fishing Section

Another section to be activated shortly is the Fishing Section, with the latest meeting of the Social League Nautivela-Bénéteau 2019-20 planned for Saturday 18th July. A meeting of fishermen to promote the relationship between the members and users who are fans of this sport.

Dinghy Section

Lovers of the dinghy sailing section of the Club will also meet again, from the 6th June on the guided activities proposed by the Sailing School two weekends a month, and also to the classic Open Regatta to sail again, learn and have fun all together with the healthiest competition. After the Open Winter Regatta, on Sunday 7th June we will be launching the Summer edition, which will take place between June and September. If you don’t have a boat, ask for one… Check the calendar!
